Hi, I’m Erin!

I am a family medicine physician who recently quit my job due to severe burnout, and am now home with my two young children full time. Switching from a high speed, very demanding and exhausting job to a slightly slower and certainly less glamorous lifestyle has been a huge transition for me. I’m navigating new waters as a try to figure out what I want to do with my life now.

A New Beginning

After quitting my job as an outpatient family medicine physician and transitioning to full-time stay at home motherhood, I found myself yearning for a way to express myself. I am not exactly sure where the path forward is taking me, and I do not know what I want to do with my career. Will I be a stay at home mom forever? Will I go back to clinical medicine? Or will I find a new career or passion to fill my time? I thought it could be fun to blog my thoughts and my journey. So here I am, exploring new territories.
