It’s been 3 months since I quit my job as a family medicine physician.

I’ve been afraid to announce it publicly, out of fear of judgement and also a little bit of shame. I often feel awkward when I say that I am now a stay-at-home mom. Why do I feel that way?

Well, there are a lot of different topics I want to dive into that discuss all of this further. And in time, I will do that. But suffice it to say that I want to break the stigma surrounding physicians who move away from clinical practice.
